TASTING NOTES
Intense red colour. Intensely vinous bouquet with fragrance. Dry and balanced on the palate, harmonious, dry, sapid flavour, slightly tannic.
PRODUCER PROFILE
Argea was founded in 2022 when a major Italian private equity firm united two renowned producers: Botter and Mondodelvino. Since then, more wineries have joined, expanding Argea’s reach and vision. Bancroft has long partnered with Botter, and this new chapter brings fresh investment and improved, price sensitive wines. Argea is an ambitious project focused on sustainability and quality at scale. With the vast number of bottles it produces, its commitment to responsible winemaking represents a significant contribution to the industry’s over all sustainability proving that large scale production and environmental stewardship can go hand in hand.
VINEYARD & VINIFICATION
Clay, galestro soil. The harvested and destemmed grapes have been vinified with 7/8 days of maceration in order to extract colour and structure. The alcoholic and malolactic fermentation are made in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 25/27° C.
