PRODUCER PROFILE
The Vinecol estate is a family winery situated in La Paz. Vinecol has 80 hectares of vineyards and was one of the first wineries in Mendoza to receive organic certification. The climate is high desert, warm summer days with cool nights, low humidity and well- drained soils. The altitude of the vineyards is 1100 metres above sea-level and is ideal for the maturation of their hand-picked organic grapes. Since their debut in 1998, Vinecol has focused on producing fruit driven wines with great drinkability.
VINEYARD & VINIFICATION
Mendoza with its high-altitude region provides ideal conditions for grape growing. The warm summer days, cool nights, low humidity, and well-drained sandy soils all contribute to optimal ripening. The grapes are manually harvested and fermented as whole berries with native yeasts in stainless steel tanks, preserving the wine’s fresh, vibrant character. This wine sees no aging, allowing its pure fruit expression to shine through.
