PRODUCER PROFILE
Located in Châlons-en-Champagne, Champagne Joseph Perrier was founded in 1825 and has been owned by the same family since 1888. Current director, Benjamin Fourmon, represents the sixth generation. Joseph Perrierowns 23 hectares of vineyards on the right bank of the River Marne, around Hautvillers and Cumières. The impressive cellars stretch over three kilometres into the chalk and date back to the Gallo-Roman period. All the champagnes are made with a keen focus on freshness and purity.
VINEYARD & VINIFICATION
The grapes are sourced from across 20 distinguished vineyards, including our own estates in Cumières, Damery,Hautvillers, and Verneuil. The champagne is aged for 36 months in the cellars, allowing for optimal development. The blend includes approximately 20% reserve wines, contributing to its depth and complexity, while the dosage is set at 7 g/L to achieve a perfect balance of flavour.
