TASTING NOTES
An intense and fragrant bouquet, layered with ripe blackberries, dark cherries, and hints of sweet spices. On the palate, it is rich and velvety, with a harmonious balance of fruit, soft tannins, and a touch of warmth. The finish is smooth and lingering, making it a versatile companion to roasted meats, aged cheeses, and rich soups.
PRODUCER PROFILE
Argea came about in 2022 as a major Italian private equity firm which brought two big names together: Botter and Mondo del vino. Since then they have added more wineries. It’s an ambitious project, with a strong emphasis in making a big player sustainable and of the best possible quality. Given the number of bottles they account for, this is a strong contribution to overall sustainability in the industry.
VINEYARD & VINIFICATION
The harvested and destemmed grapes have been vinified with 7/8 days of maceration in order to extract colour and structure. The alcoholic and malolactic fermentation are made in steel tanks at a controlled temperature 25/27° C.
