TASTING NOTES

It shows a very clean, attractive ruby-red color with terracotta reflections. The ripe, red fruit aromas combine perfectly with hints of vanilla, cinnamon, and sweet spices. On the palate, it has a good tannic structure with a long-lasting finish and toasted notes.

PRODUCER PROFILE

Certified organic since 1995, this now biodynamic estate is run by brothers Luís, Ramón and Andrés. They have some superb vineyards and grow the full range of Navarran varieties, including the wonderful and now rare Graciano. These wines always deliver ripe, accessible fruit, but with that more traditional approach of Crianzas.What many would identify as classic Rioja, but with the very best of fruit. They grow biodynamic asparagus too!

VINEYARD & VINIFICATION

Native yeast, expontaneus fermentation in stainless steel tanks (several sizes). Aging in barrels for 12 months in Bordeux barrels of 225 L. Further maturation into the bottle (minimum six months before launching the wine in the market).
